DIY | HOW TO MAKE YOU OWN BB CUSHION.
Hello everyone, today i'm back for my first post of 2017, i wish you an happy new year and may this year be better than the last one.
As you may know i'm a big massive fan of Korean BB Cushion, if you followed me since a lot of time now you already know than for me the Korean skincare routine is probably one of the best one for you skin. Here in France it's a little bit hard to find affordable cushion especially as great as the Korean one. But you can find a lot of Korean brand into this website which is one of my favorite Korean Website to order my skincare, make-up etc .. W2BEAUTY
Also for the BB Cushion trend it can be hard to find your perfect match for your skin-tone, in my mind i think Laneige and Espoir have the most bigger range of shades, and sometimes for a lot of people who they're not really used to the MUL-GWANG (which is mean in Korean a sort of dewy, moist, and Glowy face) those BB Cushion can be a little bit to much for their faces.
So for today's blogspot i'm gonna shared with you how to make your own BB Cushion.
The first thing that you have to know about BB Cushion it's they're actually have around 15grams of product inside (so and half ounce), you have to kept in mind to just create an amount of product which is around 15grams.
For having a nice personal cushion you have to have:
- A new or old Cushion case (you can find newer one without any product inside of it) with the cushion sponge inside and the cushion applicator.
- A bowl and a mixer, preference you have to use a spatula, but me i couldn't find mine so i've used a chopstick
- Foundation, your favorite one, the one that is matching your skin better.
- Face cream
- CC cream with a good SPF or you can had only a simple SPF
- Highlighter
- illuminator
For the first step, put around 10 grams of your foundation into the bowl, here i'm using the NARS SHEER GLOW in the shade light 3 (it refers to the lighter shade for yellow undertone)- Gobi
Then use around 3 grams of your favorite face cream or your current one. I recommend to use a gel formula for more oily to combination skin-type and a more thicker cream if you have a more dryer skin-type. for me it depends really of the season because i'm gravitating towards combination to dry to just sometimes normal skin-type. so for this Cushion i've used the LANCÔME HYDRA-ZEN MOISTURIZER
Then you can apply a CC Cream like me, here it's the IT COSMETICS CC+ CREAM, it's one of my favorite CC cream, for my skin this product improved so much my skin with days and weeks and it also contains a really nice 50 SPF+ and it's a chemical filter free product. But if you don't want to put any colouring product into your cushion you can just use your regular sunscreen, especially if your foundation doesn't have any SPF (the NARS SHEER GLOW doesn't have one)
Then it's time to put highlighter into your new BB Cushion, i personally wasn't sure between this two LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER BY BECCA, so i decide to use a pump of each. Moonstone is more a light champagne color and pearl is actually a white silverly highlighter so it's perfect if you have pale skin like me. But just use your favorites highlighter by the way. and then mix everything with your spatula (or your chopstick 😅)
then try your formula, for me that wasn't enough brighter and also i didn't have enough coverage so i decided to put one pump of my favorite ILLUMINATOR from CHANEL, this product gonna helps to brightening your BB Cushion formula and i have finally put two more pumps of my foundation.
Then with a spoon or just you spatula put the mixture inside of your cushion it's around a 1/3 or you case actually.
And also for not having a waste of product dip you sponge into the rest of product inside the bowl and clean the spoon/spatula on the sponge. And finally put the sponge into the cushion case. Clean up the Edges and you are good to go with your personalized BB Cushion.

MAKE-UP | WINTER MAKE-UP LOOK

Hello everyone it's been a little while since i don't have done a makeup look on my blog. So on today's post i thought that was a great idea to juste shared with you my recent favorite makeup look and probably the makeup that i want to wear for Christmas eve and Christmas day. It's something really easy to do in a rush or just when you want this little something more on your face but not as makeupy.
Start with a bare and moisture face and then apply a nice primer, because my skin is more on the dryer size i've used the STROBE CREAM by M.A.C is an ideal. It's an hydrating and glowing primer. If you are more into the oily/combo side skin i would recommend to use the OIL CONTROL LOTION also by M.A.C
Then i've applied my foundation, as you know i love natural finish foundation, so with the expert face brush by REAL TECHNIQUES i've used the SHISEIDO SHEER AND PERFECT foundation in I00 and also my concealer which is the EFFACERNES by LANCÔME in the shade 001 . Then it's time to set your face for setting my concealer i've applied the yellow powder from the MARC JACOBS #INSTAMARC with a NARS BRUSH. then i've used the contour shade to just contour my cheekbones and having more depth into the hallows of my cheeks with the REAL TECHNIQUES CONTOUR BRUSH, for a more nicer and defined contour i've used the SHISEIDO TRANSLUCENT POWDER with a BEAUTY-BLENDER (dry) under my contour. and then finally on my t-zone i used a little dust of SHISEIDO POWDER with this NEW LOOK POWDER BRUSH (which is crazy awesome!)
For the eyes, i love using my M.A.C palette i've this one since years now (you know when that was M.A.C craziness all over youtube and blogs !). The first shade that i used in the crease and to have a V at the end of the eyes it's WEDGE (the fourth on the top row) with a FLAT SHADOW BRUSH from NEW LOOK and i blend everything with the REAL TECHNIQUES SHADOW BRUSH, i also applied this shade with the NEW LOOK brush under my eyes (2/3) . It's a nice warm light brown shade it's perfect to have a nice defined contour eyes and then finally i've used the shade BRULÉ on the other 2/3 of my eyelid and finally to blend perfectly the edges of the crease and under the brow bone with my regular blending brush.
The most important part of this eye look, it's actually the eye-liner with the smoky effect which give a little something more and a less arch look on the eyes. I really enjoy the MAKEUP FOREVER AQUA CREAM in black it's the perfect eye-liner in gel to smoked out. i used this one with a flat eye-liner synthetic brush and then with a tiny flat shadow brush with nothing on the one and i smoked out the liner. I've apply my line only on the 2/3 of my eyes and i've made a little wing to have a more cat-eyes effect. And then with the left on my flat liner brush i've used this one to just line my top waterline to the inside of my eyes.
Now it's time to finish you look, i've curled my lashed and applied a volumizing mascara the BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL (I've a preference for the ROLLER LASH but i try to finish this one instead) and then it's time for brows (you can't really see them with my bangs but whatever) i used a new combo from H&M and NEW LOOK and i really enjoy it. First i used a microfine brow pencils from H&M in the shade CHOCOLATE BROWN to define the arch and draw so little hair and i set everything in place with a FIBER BROW GEL in the shade MEDIUM BROWN from NEW LOOK. That's kind of an alternative to the GIMMIE BROW by BENEFIT and the BROW WIZ by ANASTASIA in way less expensive (under $15 for this combo). For lips i really enjoyed natural but better lips and i don't want to be stressed about my lips makeup especially for Christmas dinner so i used my trusty LANCÔME BEIGE ROSÉE lip liner and with the lip-brush part i've applied the NUXE REVE DE MIEL lip balm, just a thin layer to have hydrated lips during all night, this one is actually a matte lip-balm which i think works better with this time of looks and stay more longer.
And finally for the pièce of resistance of this look, i've used my new favorite face palette form BECCA in COLLABORATION with JACLYN HILL (finally available at your local Sephora in France !). I've applied a little bit of CHAMPAGNE POP (which apparently it's called C-POP for the newest palette, i've to say than i was more in love with the old names...) on the top of the cheekbones and also under brow bone and because it's a BAM IN YOUR FACE KIND OF HIGHLIGHTER i blend this one with my powder brush for a more natural look and i also used a tiny bit of the blush AMARETTO (which apparently is now called ALMOND). I also Highlight the inner-corner of my eyes with a mix of PROSECCO POP (now called GOLD POP) and CHAMPAGNE POP.
And that's the finish look, i really enjoy to wear this one for an everyday makeup but also as a night out make-up especially if you wear an outfit totally more dressed up.

Hello everyone, what's up ? Today i really wanted to shared with you my september favorites, as you know usually in autumn i love my bold red lips and i would than in general it's my signature look, but recently i've discovered a combo than i have to shared with you. i don't have a massive selection for this month, but i do have into my planning a lot of reviews for October and November.

Aujourd'hui j'avais envie de partager avec vous mes favoris du mois de septembre, comme vous le savez en automne j'adore mes lèvres rouges, et j'ai envie de dire qu'en général c'est un peu ma signature. Mais récemment j'ai eu envie de partager ce combo avec vous. Je n'ai pas non plus une très grande sélection ce mois-ci, mais dans mon planning j'ai pleins de revues pour vous durant le mois d'Octobre et Novembre.
By the way recently i've used a lot of my RADIANT pink tone MAKEUP FOREVER STEP 1 primer, this one is like a purple/lavender base, which is perfect for me because i'm really yellow undertone naturally. It's not a thick texture which i like, if you have an oily skin you can totally love it because of the texture.
Récemment j'ai beaucoup utilisé la base éclat de chez makeup forever, cette base agit comme une base violette/ lavande ce qui est parfait pour moi comme j'ai vraiment des sous-tons jaunes naturellement. Ce n'est pas non plus une texture épaisse ce que j'aime beaucoup et si vous avez une peau grasse vous allez totalement l'aimer par rapport à sa texture.
i've been loving so much the new DIORSKIN CUSHION by DIOR, it's probably one of my favorites European cushion (if you want a comparison post between Asian one and European cushion , tell me in the comment box below) i got mine in the shade 10, which is of course the lightest one, the spectrum of shade is kinda good if i've to compare with LANCÔME CUSHIONS they're way to much pink for me, i'm neutral to yellow undertone and the lightest shade are more into the pink spectrum, the DIOR one is more neutral tone which can work with a lot of skin-tone they made a nice job FINALLY with the shade range.
Isn't really an high coverage cushion it's more between a light to a build-able light medium coverage, for me it's perfect because i don't have to really covered my face i don't have any acne or skin problem either. I love the fact than it's a foundation with a skincare product inside it's reminds me a lot of my lovely TERRYBLY DENSILIS FOUNDATION by BY TERRY. I've more a normal to combo with a dehydrated skin so for me i don't have any problem of oiliness during my long day i think this foundation is really suitable for all skin type. A lot of people talk about the price of it it's kinda high-priced here in France it's around 76 euros, but i've to say than into your box you have the cushion case + your cushion inside and a refill of it (of course then a refill of it perfectly close into a plastic packaging with a new sponge, so for me the price it's kinda regular if i compare LANCÔME or YSL when you bought it you have only the cushion case + your cushion you don't have any refill on it and for more than 45 euros ;)
J'ai beaucoup aimé le nouveau DIORSKIN CUSHION de DIOR, c'est probablement un des cushion européens favoris (si vous voulez un post comparatif entre le cushion européen et asiatique dite-le moi dans les commentaires en bas), j'ai la teinte 10, ce qui est bien sûr la teinte la plus pâle la gamme de teinte est vraiment bonne si je dois comparer à la gamme des CUSHION de LANCÔME qui sont bien trop rose pour moi, je suis neutre avec des sous-tons jaunes quand même, et la teinte la plus pâle est vraiment très rosé. le DIOR est plus neutre ce qui marchera bien pour beaucoup de sous-tons ils ont finalement enfin fait un bon travail sur la gamme de teinte.
Ce n'est pas vraiment un cushion avec une haute couvrance, c'est plus entre le léger et le médium léger en terme de couvrance, pour moi c'est parfait puis que je n'ai pas vraiment besoin d'avoir des fond de teints couvrant car je n'ai pas d'acné ou de problème de peau. J'aime le fait que c'est un fond de teint avec un soins à l'intérieur et il me rappelle beaucoup le fond de teint TERRYBLY DENSISLIS de BY TERRY. J'ai plus un type de peau normal à mixte avec une tendance déshydratée donc pour moi je n'ai pas de problème de sébum durant ma longue journée, je pense que ce fond de teint peut convenir à tous les types de peaux. Beaucoup de gens disent que le prix de celui-ci est un peu élevé en France il est au alentour de 76 euros, mais je dois dire que dans la boite vous avez la cushion case+ le cushion à l'intérieur et une recharge en plus (parfaitement ranger dans un packaging fermé en plastique avec une éponge en plus). Donc pour moi le prix est régulier puisque les cushion de LANCÔME ou de YSL ne sont pas vendus avec une recharge autour des 45 euros.
The KEVIN AUCOIN SCULPTING POWER in LIGHT is my new favorite contour shade before i've used the medium one because that was the only one available, when the brand came with a light shade i knew than this one was for me, because with the medium one and my pale skin that was sometime a little bit hard to not over do it (especially if you're not into the makeup world this shit is pigmented like CRAZY). Sometimes just a natural blush with a duo-fiber brush.
La POUDRE SCULTPANTE KEVIN AUCOIN dans la teinte LIGHT est une de mes nouveaux favoris avant j'ai utilisé la teinte medium parce que c'était la seule qui était disponible à l'époque, quand la marque a crée une teinte plus clair je savais que c'était pour moi, car parfois avec la teinte médium et ma peau très pale ça pouvait être dur de ne pas trop en utiliser (spécialement quand vous n'êtes pas dans le monde du makeup, ce truc est quand même pigmenter comme un fou!) parfois j'aime bien l'utiliser comme un blush naturel avec un pinceau duo-fibre.
The BROW BEATER by URBAN DECAY and the BROW MOUSSE by TARTE that's a COMBO ! the power lasting of those products is absolutely amazing, i do have normally thick brows but we all know than the thickness is better!
Le BROW BEATER de URBAN DECAY et le BROW MOUSSE de TARTE c'est un bon COMBO! La tenue de ces produits est absolument superbes, j'ai normalement j'ai sourcils assez épais et fourni mais comme nous le savez nous plus c'est épais mieux c'est!
Can we talk about the new CLARINS SUPRA VOLUME mascara? this mascara is a new one from CLARINS and if you followed me since a little bit of time you know than my ultimate favorite is the TRULY WATERPROOF from the same brand. when i've discovered that new one i was massively impressed by this. Because it's a skincare mascara ( i've a little problem with skincare in makeup as you can see) i really have seen a difference into the thickness of my lashes after a week only. I do have naturally thick and long lashes but with this mascara it's even more bigger, voluminous etc..
Pouvous-nous parler du nouveau mascara SUPRA VOLUME de CLARINS ? ce mascara est un nouveau de la marque, si vous me suivez depuis pas mal de temps maintenant, mon grand favoris est le TRULY WATERPROOF de la même marque. Quand j'ai découvert ce nouveau mascara j'ai été totalement impressionné, premièrement car c'est un soin dans mascara (j'ai un petit problème avec les soins dans le maquillage comme vous l'avez vu!), j'ai vraiment vu une différence dans le volume de mes cils après une semaine seulement. je dois dire que j'ai de base des cils naturellement volumineux et long mais avec ce mascara ils sont devenus encore plus grand et volumineux etc..
This is the time for the lips combo tho, my new favorite one the LIP LINER in 211 BEIGE ROSÉ by LANCÔME and the new ROUGE DIOR in the shade 219 ROSE MONTAIGNE. it's the perfect nude for me my lips but better. Firstly the lip liner it's a perfect match with my lips i used this one since a lot of years now because LANCÔME is my favorite brand for lip liners. they're smooth, buttery, they've a beautiful lasting power and the shade range is absolutely wonderful. The new ROUGE DIOR is an absolutely stunning formula, i wasn't a big massive fans of DIOR lipsticks before but recently they've change the formula and i would said than this new one is beautiful. the shade 219 ROSE MONTAIGNE is a beautiful rosy-beige color my lips but better by the way, the power lasting with the lip liner is wonderful too.
C'est enfin le temps de parler du fameux combo pour les lèvres, le CRAYON À LÈVRES en 211 BEIGE ROSÉ de LANCÔME et le nouveau ROUGE DIOR dans la teinte 219 ROSE MONTAIGNE, c'est le parfait nude en mode mes lèvres mais en mieux et ça match parfaitement avec mes lèvres, je l'utilise depuis pas mal d'années maintenant LANCÔME est une de mes marques favorites pour les crayons à lèvres. Ils sont crémeux et ils tiennent très très bien sur les lèvres. Le nouveau ROUGE DIOR a une formulation absolument sublime, je n'étais pas une grand fan des rouges à lèvres dior avant mais récemment ils ont changés la formulation des RAL. la teinte 219 ROSE MONTAIGNE est une superbe teinte avec des sous-tons roses et beiges, mes lèvres mais en mieux.
And last but not list the perfect perfume for autumn, sometimes in autumn i love to wear a light fragrance because in winter i'm more into the cocooning scent like the BLACK OPIUM by YSL or my ultimate ALIEN by THIERRY MUGLER the CHANEL CHANCE EAU TENDRE (the pink one) is perfect for that, a light perfume but with a beautiful power lasting, i love the bottle too is a settle packaging, a simple one which is perfect too put in your bag during your day time for a little retouch of perfume on the wrist.
Et le dernier mais pas des moindres, le parfum parfait pour l'automne parfois en automne j'aime porter des parfums plus léger car en hiver j'aime plus les senteur cocooning comme le BLACK OPIUM de YSL ou encore mon fameux ALIEN de THIERRY MUGLER, le CHANEL CHANCE EAU TENDRE (le rose) est parfait pour ça, c'est un parfum léger avec une tenue plutôt pas mal, j'aime beaucoup la bouteille aussi qui est vraiment légère est un style très simple, ce qui la rend parfaite pour la ranger dans votre sac durant la journée et pour refaire une retouche de parfum sur vos poignets.
